Denise Siele is an award-winning public affairs professional with a record of results delivered for government, business and non-government stakeholders. As Managing Partner of SEMgroup, Denise delivers strategic event and public affairs outcomes for a diverse clientele.
As Director of Strategic Initiatives and Operations at Equal Voice, she manages Canada-wide efforts to get more women elected to legislatures across the country. Past clients include the Governments of Alberta, Ontario and the Yukon, the United Nations Development Program and the Canadian Union of Public of Employees.
Yasir Naqvi was first elected to the Ontario legislature in 2007 as the MPP for Ottawa Centre. He was re-elected in 2011 and 2014. Naqvi currently serves as Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services and as Government House Leader.
He has previously served as the Minister of Labour, a role in which he raised the minimum wage, brought forward new protections for vulnerable workers and improved workplace safety measures. Naqvi has also been the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services, the Minister of Revenue and the Minister of Education.
A first-generation Canadian, Naqvi arrived with his family in Canada in 1988 after the Pakistani government imprisoned his father for leading a pro-democracy march. Canada welcomed his family and allowed it to prosper.
Emechete Onuoha is Vice President, Global Government Affairs (Canada). As a member of Xerox Corporation's Global Government Affairs team, he is responsible for Xerox Canada's government stakeholder strategy and public policy engagement. He is also responsible for Xerox Canada’s customer experience program, environmental sustainability agenda, and corporate philanthropy.
Prior to joining Xerox, he held several senior positions within the Government of Canada, including: Director of Operations at the Privy Council Office; Vice President of the Canadian Commercial Corporation; Chief of Staff to the Minister of National Defence; and Policy Adviser to the Minister of International Trade. During his tenure in government he received the Merit Award for Team Achievement for distinguished contribution to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Privy Council Office.
In 2010 he was awarded the Top 100 under 50 designation by Diversity MBA magazine. In 2011 he received Green Living Enterprises’ Excellence in Corporate Responsibility Award for the Canadian IT industry. 2014

Black Star Tutoring is a mobile program – that is, the tutor comes to you. We provide in-home tutoring services to all elementary and high school students. With a special focus on children and youths from low income areas, we welcome all newcomers and immigrants who may need assistance overcoming academic barriers and cultural challenges. The program is also available to students who aim to “reach ahead” by advancing their knowledge and understanding in a particular subject or field. Black Star Tutoring uses a one-on-one approach so both tutors and students benefit from a personalized lesson plan.
