The Heru Drummers

The Heru Drummers are a group of exceptionally talented and devoted youth who have been working incessantly to both perfect and master their instrument, the African drum. The Heru Drummers are students of the Jaku Konbit’s Academy, an African-centered educational and cultural program that promotes academic excellence, self-esteem, teamwork, cultural awareness and youth leadership development. The Heru Drummers have pledged Earth and Sky their yardstick, and Eternity their measurement of success.
Social drumming has been used for centuries to mark significant events and celebrate rites of passage. The Heru Drummer provides fantastic and exciting interactive drumming events for all social occasions. We have a team that is dedicated to these events only. We cater for weddings, Batmitzvahs, 21st's, 50th's, 30th's, kitchen teas, fundraisers, book clubs and all manner of celebratory events.
