About Us

Our mission is to support and improve the lives of disadvantaged individuals and families of African and Caribbean descent through partnership with all communities and programming that results in everyone’s successful economic and civic participation in Canadian society.

Our Programs

We provide quality, youth, elder and community programs that serve everyone with an African heritage and that are wholly open to all others in our culturally diverse Ottawa.

Get Involved

A strong organization is built with a core group of committed members who work together with a clear a vision and common goal to achieve its mission and mandate. Jaku Konbit is always looking for talented, goal-oriented, driven professionals who can help to continue to build and strengthen our organization.
