Ken Campbell


Ken Campbell is the current president of Jaku Konbit. With Ken at the helm, Jaku Konbit has emerged as one of Ottawa’s more dynamic and proactive community-based organizations.

Jaku Konbit is known for its hosting of the annual Ottawa Community Kwanzaa Celebration, the largest African-centered cultural event during the Holiday. Jaku Konbit is also known for its “Greatness is Within Me” summer camp, the Heru Drummers, the Youth Leadership and Job Connect programs, Black Star Tutoring, and also their latest initiative, the Green Job Program, which is designed to engaged black youth in work related opportunities centering around the environment.

It is important to note that these are just a few of the things that Jaku Konbit is known for.
